Climbing carabiner is the openable device, which enables a mountaineer to link himself directly or indirectly to an anchor or to link parts of the equipment together. It has several series as self-closing connector and basic termination connector. The carabiner must be able to withstand (without fracture) a load of more than 22.2 kN under CE requirement of EN12275.
